Who would have believed that the last twelve weeks would go by so quickly? I cannot believe that my little baby is already twelve weeks old. She’s no longer a new born but a proper little baby.
Despite the ups and downs, I have loved every minute of having her, watching her grow and evolve. We have even started getting giggles and squeals from her although she’s very grumpy if I try and make her do some tummy time.
She’s only twelve weeks but here’s a picture of her today wearing age 6 month clothes – she’s already outgrown most of her 3 month clothes bless her!
And here’s a medal I received from Ameena at MummyinProvence for reaching my 3 month breastfeeding goal – I never thought I would get this far given all the hurdles and hoops I’ve had to jump through (hah hah, love the irony given I couldn’t walk!) but I did thanks in part to her support and encouragement. I’m so pleased I did it as it’s help me a lot and helped me feel closer to Baby Piglet.
You are obviously doing a wonderful job as a mum – what a beautiful, happy little girl. Well done, especially with all the problems and difficulties you have had to overcome.
Thank you. I have no idea how I am doing in terms of text book mummying, but I can see that I have a happy, contented daughter who rarely cries so I must be doing something right 🙂
Looking after her has been my outlet, she is truly wonderful and was worth everything I went through.
She is beautiful. I admire your stamina and obviously your milk is the BEST thing for her. I fed both of mine until they were about 10 months and they were so healthy and happy. In fact, I only stopped because they were both so heavy! Enjoy Piglet.
They do get heavy don’t they?
Breastfeeding has been a battle for me as I had milk supply issues due to my body being so tired after the infection and fractured coccyx, plus the stress of everything didn’t help but with lots of support I managed. I only thought I would last a month, then six weeks, then 8 weeks and now here we are at 3 months!
Congrats!!! 😀 Gorgeous little one, you deserve that medal!
Thanks hun!
It’s amazing how quickly she has changed in just the space of a few weeks. Can’t wait to show her the piglet toy we have bought her…hope she likes it!
Counting the days to playing with her again! Congrats on your 3month breastfeeding badge – you need a medal after all you’ve ben through!

We’re counting the days to see you too.
miss you Mum

Cherish every single day,my dear, because time will fly so quickly. Your daughter is wonderful and so chic!
Thank you 🙂 Each time I look at her I’m reminded how fast time passes so I do try and cherish every single moment x
What a little beauty! Congratulations on the 3 month achievement. That’s more than I managed with my fist, though I fed the second for 6 months. Well done!.
Thanks! I never expected to get this far, would have been happy with 1 month but now I would always try and breastfeed. I would like to continue for another 3 months but she goes into daycare from September (to my greatest regret but need to earn an income) so know that I may struggle.
Adorable! Happy 12 weeks to Baby Piglet!
Thanks you!
You deserve the medal. Breastfeeding isn’t easy even when you don’t have all the challenges you have had. she is adorable. I can’t believe it has been 3 months.
Thanks! Thankfully I had great support, from Ameena and also on twitter. The Mum’s on there are fantastic at offering support and advice to new Mum’s like me. If I’d been relying purely on the Dr’s and midwife’s I’ve seen here I don’t think I would have managed due to supply issues and them telling me to put her on a schedule – I wouldn’t have had any milk left 😦
She’s adorable! Congratulations and thank you for all your posts. They make me very happy.
Thanks 🙂
YAY!!! What a gorgeous girlie! Well done mama! You totally deserve your medal! So happy I could support you! Breastfeeding is NOT easy … super proud of you!
No, it’s not easy especially with the little medical support I got… Would have given up straightaway thinking I didn’t have any milk!
Thanks 🙂
What a poppet. You must be so proud, not just of her but of yourself too. Keep up the good work! 🙂
I am proud thanks, but very lucky that I’ve got an easy baby too 😉
She is a little beauty…and those clothes!
You’ve a lot to be proud of…and i hope you are.
she seems to love clothes as much as I do x
